Parental Benefits for student

Hello everyone
I'm employed and I had worked full time before I started my studies. I'm studying a full-time program now and I have an agreement with my employer to only work part time during the period of my studies.

Can I receive parental befits based on my salary prior to studying or will they be based on the average income I've received for the past 12 months?
Thanks.

  • Hello,

If you worked before you began studying, you might receive parental benefit that is based on your latest salary before the studies, if you fulfil some requirements. You can find more information here under the heading "if you are student" and here.
