Master Students with Infants

Hi,
First I apologize if this is not the correct forum I should discuss this topic. But I can't find any official sources in this regard.
my points are;
1. If there is any female student who has infant below 1 year old, is she not allowed to study in a Swedish university. Is this could be a reason for even a visa rejection? (please consider Master studies applicants from out side EU/EEA)
2. Is it compulsory even for a student , who become a parent while studying to stop the studies and take Maternity leave?
3. Is it possible to continue studies for the mother while father is looking after the new born infant?
Thanks.

  • Hello,
    thank you for your post.
    The questions you have about studies and what applies to your situation are not questions that Försäkringskassan can answer. I suggest you contact the university and possibly Skatteverket when it comes to your question about the visa.
    Kind regards,
    Fredrik
