I did not receive any notification after I sent my request for registration

Hej,

I applied for being registered at Försäkringskassan already one month ago. I sent all the documents and forms to you, but I did not receive any notification yet. I am not sure I need to, but I would like to know if I am already registered or not.

    Regarding the registration process, we have very long processing time and it can take several months before you might receive any decision or letter from us. You can always log in to our website in My Pages (Mina Sidor), if you want to see if we have received your registration application.

    If you have specific questions about your individual ongoing case in Försäkringskassan, you can always contact our Customer Centre for private individuals on the telephone number 0771-524 524 and press 8 to get connected to the English line to receive more information.

  • Hi, do you have any maximum time  or just “several months” is the best we can get?

    I‘m worried now, I have sent my online application - and my wife’s - just yesterday, and also I have uploaded all documentation together with it.

    We’re living in Sweden for 3,5 years now and we are expecting a baby for middle May, and it was just now that we were informed of and discovered about försäkringskassan’s registration, through out midwife.

    So basically we are expecting the baby in 3,5 months from now, which makes “several months” a red flag for us.

    Would this time be enough for us to receive benefits on time?

    Thank you for your post.

    One of the factors that affect our registration and processing time is, namingly, the queue.
    However, if you have an ongoing application on a benefit, the registration could be prioritized.

    One can send in applications for benefits, prior to registration. The investigating offices could go through the applications while your registration is in the queue.
    Kindly be informed that the departments will not make any decisions before the registration investigation finishes.
